The Canadian Women's FUT-SAL™ National Team set off to Colombia on October 21, 2022 to represent Canada in the World Women's FUT-SAL® Championships in Colombia 2022.
Team Canada will be opening the championships against Colombia ,the host, on October 24, 2022 in a sold out stadium of 3,110 fans. The ladies seem not to be bothered by the crowds and are focused on writing new history for Canada during the event.
Technical Director, N.M. Gabriel, will direct the women on the court, bringing his remarkable achievement as a player with the Men's National Team, where they won the 2018 CONCAFUTSAL™ Championship in Mexico City.
The team is in group B with former World Champions Colombia, as well as Uruguay and Australia, CNFA conducted preparations for Team Canada starting February, 2022, tha brought in athletes from different provinces sponsored by GTA Sportsplex limited.
